The term “Japa” is now a very common one referring to people leaving their home country to another, essentially migration
But before it became very popular, people have been migrating and as a matter of fact will continue to, as there’s nothing intrinsically wrong with legal migrations.
However, Japa is stirring up even many more deeper conversations- brain drain, significant, undeniable contributions of migrants to the economic growth of countries where they are, and in different sectors (which is really not so talked about) transitioning-the many challenges and wins as the case maybe.
And so The 77 Percent caught up with some really brilliant minds in this upcoming Street Debate.
In Germany’s second largest city, Hamburg and asked some really interesting, tough and pressing questions.
Is the grass greener on other side?
Will they return to their home countries?
Why and why not? And many more.
